ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

An Associate Membership provides an opportunity for those in some way related to K-12 education to keep current with trends and data, while interacting with peers. Any person engaged in K-12 education (with the exception of a district superintendent), including K-12 related college or university faculty/leadership and students in educational administration, may become an Associate Member. Associate Members have all the rights and privileges of Institutional Members, with the exception of having the right to hold office, vote, and attend meetings of the Executive Committee or executive sessions of the Association. Item 3.  ASSOCIATE MEMBERS:  Any person who is engaged in educational administration, with the exception of the superintendent, or is engaged in the teaching of educational administration in a college or university; or is a retired superintendent may become an Associate Member by the payment of the annual dues established for Associate Members. Associate Members have all the rights and privileges of Active Members except they do not have the right to hold office, to vote, to attend meetings of the Executive Committee, or executive sessions of the Association.
I understand that membership in IAPSS includes permission for IAPSS to communicate with me through fax, email or mailings regarding meetings, products and Association business.

ASPIRING MEMBERSHIP

Individuals serving in various leadership positions within an educational institution’s administrative team often have an interest in one day leading as superintendent. IAPSS is an excellent source of information for these future leaders. In addition to learning and developing their own capacity, there are a myriad of opportunities for these leaders to contribute ideas and share from their unique perspectives. Our Aspiring Superintendent members develop an understanding of the process for leading a district from an inside perspective while learning from the experience of others. Aspiring Superintendent members may attend IAPSS seminars, serve on district-level committees (excluding the Executive Committee), receive IAPSS communications, access the Superintendents’ Assistance Program, and attend the Prospective Superintendent Seminars at a reduced rate of 50 percent.For more information please contact our office.

Session Schedule

• November 8, 2023 Fall Seminar - "Make Space, Take Space: A Relational Leadership Workshop for Women." Facilitated by Brooklyn Raney, founder of One Trusted Adult. Lunch included.

• March 8, 2024 Spring Seminar - "Every Generation Wins: How to Build Strong Multigenerational Teams." Facilitated by Lindsay Boccardo, Leadership Coach/Speaker.  Lunch Included.

• June 17 and 18, 2024 Fourth Annual Summer Conference - "Leading While Female: A Culturally Proficient Response for Gender Equity." Facilitated by Trudy Arriaga, Stacie Stanley, and Delores Lindsey, authors of the book by the same title. Breakfast included both days, lunch included first day only. A reception will also follow the evening of June 17.
